I Got Asked To Come And Teach In India I'm Still In Shock....

Beginning this month, GoEco is offering a new opportunity to travel to India and volunteer helping children at various programs in and around New Delhi. This capital city is fast becoming an international hub, yet it is still in great need of assistance in social development. The program described below consists of 3 project options focused on social action and caring for children in need.

Teaching and Child Care in Delhi
The first project option is a teaching program that takes place in community schools. Volunteers are needed to either teach in classrooms or teach to groups of children in an open air classroom. The second option gives volunteers the opportunity to work at an orphanage in providing education, warmth, affection, and care to disadvantaged and orphaned children. Another project is working at shelter homes for street children in and around Delhi. This will give volunteers the opportunity to assist in basic literacy, recreation and care.

These programs can really make a world of difference to a child's life and the effort put in by volunteers to help does not go unnoticed nor unapreciated by the local community.
