MY LAST POST OF 2012!!!

no more Japan...no wonder why I've felt so alive this year...if that was the case in 2012...2013 I should be bouncing off the walls for still being so hyped up about not being there anymore...sorry but it's so true that there's no other words to describe the feeling...

If only I could sleep at times, then I wouldn't be searching the internet for such depressing pics like these...and I finally upgraded my phone cause I live on the internet day and night, and can't stand to not be on it and chatting to my friends on here about what is going on on my side of the world and how bored I am...etc...etc...I expect to be getting even less sleep now than I have before now that I will have a better internet connection beside me in bed than the phone that I had, or a glaring laptop...I can't help wondering who else has this same problem as me if anyone??

WHO CAN RELATE!?

wow so Christmas has come and gone, I've already gotten into about 5 different arguments with people that I couldn't stand of course, and I'm still trying to get over my very painful accident that I had last week...I am soo glad to be feeling so much better than I was before..it was 3 different times going to the emergency room cause they couldn't get my temporary cast right...1st time not even 24 hours, and the thing was so loose that I could see all the way to the bottom...2nd time: I was having an allergic reaction and that plaster mess was breaking out my entire arm...I'm waiting and waiting and waiting there for nearly 2-3 hours...some bitch comes in whining around and pretend crying, and some idiot guy comes out and just because they knew each other, that worthless piece of ******* goes in front of me just because they knew each other and I got there waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyy before she did...I can't stand females to begin with...we ALWAYSSSSSSSSSSSS get in arguments, fights, eye rolling, snappy attitudes and silent fights with them snarling their top lip at me, but I really don't care cause I still can't stand them I don't care what anyone says...

I don't put up with idiot females doing that to me no way no how, and threw an absolute FIT halfway yelling my head off how I was 1st, that wasn't fair just because they were total brats and knew each other and think they can treat people that way, that I am here just like everybody else, and that if they didn't cooperate with me then I was going to file the biggest complaint of a LIFETIME against them for putting me through complete hell when I was dying with pain from an accident that I kinda/sorta could have kept from happening....

I can't remember what else really, but that was pretty much the jist of it...I couldn't believe everyone else there just remained sooo quiet and calm and didn't say a word like everything was completely fine and I won't put up with that for even half of a second...so I guess I scared them to death, becasue then I was first priority and everyone there was all of a sudden super nice to me, and finally did what I had wanted to get done for the last 3 hours instead of sitting and sitting there having to listen to whiny females come in and put up with their backwards personalities in the middle of the night...

I have NEVER been through that before, but sorry who wouldn't get burning up furious if they were somewhere waiting 2 hours close to 3 and some unknown worthless chump comes in the door and just because they know whoever it is, they jump ahead of you and you are still sitting there like you have been the last 2 hours...complete time waster, but they found out soon enough that I wasn't going to act like everything was ok...wow some people really have some nerve to treat others like that...esp. me when I won't keep my mouth shut for 1 min. about any of it about this unfair treatment...

this base and Anchorage is soooo huge, that it's completely impossible to run into the same people twice unless you traded emails or facebook info...I'm soo glad that it's that way, cause it is like that in every big city, and I am not sorry for that...that is why I will never fit into the small town scene ever..3rd time: my cast got wet after me being so obsessed with showers and doing all that I could to keep that from happening... water still found its way to make my life miserable having to be in a cast...I did everything that was recommended for that, but didn't happen...since it was a temporary cast, I could unwrap it and change everything...

I tried doing that and it wasn't right, and then I couldn't get the thing to stay on..so back to the emergency room...got that taken care of aggggaiiinnn was sick of going there...I was thankful that I was dealing with a male doctor and not a female one since they act like everything is ok and shove me off...so finally they got it right...my wrist is still soooooo sore but much much better than it was when my accident happened..

I'm able to take that horrible plaster cast off..it was just plaster on the bottom but anyone who has never had a cast, or even half of a cast has no idea how uncomfortable they can be, and I've had 4 of them...permanent or temporary...I still have to wear a brace, and now my wrist will be aching for life..I'm sooo glad that I can at least get back to my normal activites without being so limited...you have no idea how difficult it is when you can't bend your wrists or use your hands and fingers...

I couldn't do anything really, and it was enough to drive me insane...I had enough, and jerked my cast off in my sleep and threw it down...I'm glad it didn't break since I still have to keep going back...so since we learn something everyday, the lesson for today is don't let anyone screw around with you or your life, and interfere with your schedule...if they try to, just throw an absolute fit, talk really loud where you scare everyone to death, and they are frozen from how dead serious you seem to be when really you just want your way...but all in all, to stay away from rotten people since they are bad for your personality and your health...honestly I am too moody and pouty to want to ever have to deal with them, and then sometimes I just really can't stand people..not including my friends of course....

The fact that I can't sit still and always have to be active doing something has gotten me into a situation again...I had class today, and then after I absolutely could not WAIT to go out again outdoors sledding, climbing hills, and having it all to myself for once without having to wait on others, or them listen to me scream my head off on the way down cause that still scares me to death..I'm still trying to get used to winter activities since I have never lived around snow before but I can't wait to try everything...dog sledding and snow mobiling are next...people are soon to find out that I am not at all boring once I am let loose outside...

I went up the hill in the back of us, it's not really a huge one, but it will take the breath out of you just going up and carrying a sled...I went down twice...those were fine...I'm starting to get much better at not falling off, and trying to get used to the slick areas that cause me to pick up more speed..third time?? I was so hyped up with going down on my own, with no one else being around, that I was actually getting used to it, that I planned on going down 10 times...dream on...I went down the third time, and at the bottom, the snow boarders had made a mound of snow to jump when they got to the bottom...

sooo guess what I did...I headed right for that solid mound of snow, and couldn't stop, couldn't turn, couldn't move, couldn't get off, cause I was flying, and hit that small hill of solid snow packed up full force..I went skidding, my sled landed on top of me hitting me pretty hard...I went flying, and landed flat down on the ground hitting my head super hard, landing on both my wrists and one of my hands and my little finger, and then I felt really bad pain on my mouth...I felt of it, and there was blood all over my hand and made sure that I still had all of my teeth, yes I did thank you GOD...

felt around on it some more, and realized that I bit the hell out of my bottom lip...yah I was super glad that no one was around for that one, cause then I'd have people running up asking me over and over if I was okay, kids all around that I normally go sledding with, stupid people that I didn't even know asking ignorant questions, and I have no idea what else...wow I haven't had an accident like that in like years..I also rebusted my chin where I had stitches once before, only this time it was right above the stitches, and now is still very swollen and sore..and my jaw feels like I was punched by a boxer...

so that was it for me today on the sledding part, and once I could stand up and walk again I came back home since we are right in front of that so it is only a short walk...and finally got a chance to look at my face and my lip..My front teeth came over my bottom lip, so that was the worst of it, now it's purple, dark red, and very very swollen and sore, and also looks like someone punched me in the mouth from smarting off...my chin is just a nick, not too much of a cut, but I'm glad that I didn't bust the part open where I was stitched up before...I finally got all that bleeding to stop, and then I thought that I may have broken my finger..it was swollen, turning bruised, and still hurts to move it...so I have no idea and I really don't wanna sit for 2 days in the emergency room just waiting...

my bottom lip took the worst of the beating though, and I am still sooooooooooooo sore all over...now that I look back on it, jumping on a sled from a mound of snow, and flying in the air a little ways was actually quite a blast...I've got the snowboarders to thank for that one...they stand straight up on snow boards, and go all the way down and jump off that thing in the air, and somehow manage to land on their feet...if I tried doing something like that, I would end up all the way across the street...

I wish that I could try that again, but I can't stand going that fast, and I don't want to get hurt again like this...now I know not to go at full speed down a very very steep slick hill with a mound of snow at the bottom..I'm still new at this, but I"m learning slowly and that usually involves me having accidents along the way...I'm not telling anyone about that though, I don't wanna hear how dangerous it was whenever I wish that I could do it all over again if only I was more coordinated and didn't halfway kill myself every time I try to do anything sports related...and that is why I am not a professional athlete...

Traditions: Christmas Trees and Ornaments

The fir tree has a long association with Christianity, it began in Germany almost 1,000 years ago when St Boniface, who converted the German people to Christianity, was said to have come across a group of pagans worshipping an oak tree. In anger, St Boniface is said to have cut down the oak tree and to his amazement a young fir tree sprung up from the roots of the oak tree. St Boniface took this as a sign of the Christian faith. But it was not until the 16th century that fir trees were brought indoors at Christmas time.

CHRISTMAS TREE TRADITION HAS ANCIENT ORIGINS

King Tut never saw a Christmas tree, but he would have understood the tradition which traces back long before the first Christmas, says David Robson, Extension Educator, Horticulture with the Springfield Extension Center.

The Egyptians were part of a long line of cultures that treasured and worshipped evergreens. When the winter solstice arrive, they brought green date palm leaves into their homes to symbolize life's triumph over death.

The Romans celebrated the winter solstice with a fest called Saturnalia in honor of Saturnus, the god of agriculture. They decorated their houses with greens and lights and exchanged gifts. They gave coins for prosperity, pastries for happiness, and lamps to light one's journey through life.

****Centuries ago in Great Britain, woods priests called Druids used evergreens during mysterious winter solstice rituals. The Druids used holly and mistletoe as symbols of eternal life, and place evergreen branches over doors to keep away evil spirits.

Late in the Middle Ages, Germans and Scandinavians placed evergreen trees inside their homes or just outside their doors to show their hope in the forthcoming spring. Our modern Christmas tree evolved from these early traditions.****

(these were combined to be an Old German  Tradition and changed up a little as well...we put an actual branch up instead of a regular Christmas tree...this is to represent our life before we came to Christ...on Christmas Eve, we take the branch down, and put up a fully decorated Christmas tree...the decorated Christmas tree is to show how much we've changed and how beautiful our spirit and our lives are now after we came to Christ..

It's really an amazing symbolic tradition that I never get tired of...it's really hard not having a Christmas tree like everyone else does the entire month of December...I go from a Menorrah to a tree branch, and then finally to a regular Christmas tree for just a few days...we've completely run outta room here, but there is a pine tree out in the front yard that we will do our best on decorating on Christmas Eve...I've had people snarl their lip at me and roll their eyes at me on this one, but I really don't care anymore...it's an incredible way to celebrate and not just focus on what is coming out the doors from the shopping malls...)*****

Legend has it that Martin Luther began the tradition of decorating trees to celebrate Christmas. One crisp Christmas Eve, about the year 1500, he was walking through snow-covered woods and was struck by the beauty of a group of small evergreens. Their branches, dusted with snow, shimmered in the moonlight. When he got home, he set up a little fir tree indoors so he could share this story with his children. He decorated it with candles, which he lighted in honor of Christ's birth.

The Christmas tree tradition most likely came to the United States with Hessian troops during the American Revolution, or with German immigrants to Pennsylvania and Ohio, adds Robson.

But the custom spread slowly. The Puritans banned Christmas in New England. Even as late as 1851, a Cleveland minister nearly lost his job because he allowed a tree in his church. Schools in Boston stayed open on Christmas Day through 1870, and sometimes expelled students who stayed home.

The Christmas tree market was born in 1851 when Catskill farmer Mark Carr hauled two ox sleds of evergreens into New York City and sold them all. By 1900, one in five American families had a Christmas tree, and 20 years later, the custom was nearly universal.

Christmas tree farms sprang up during the depression. Nurserymen couldn't sell their evergreens for landscaping, so they cut them for Christmas trees. Cultivated trees were preferred because they have a more symmetrical shape then wild ones.

Six species account for about 90 percent of the nation's Christmas tree trade. Scotch pine ranks first, comprising about 40 percent of the market, followed by Douglas fir which accounts for about 35 percent. The other big sellers are noble fir, white pine, balsam fir and white spruce.

CHRISTMAS TREE HISTORY

Did a celebration around a Christmas tree on a bitter cold Christmas Eve at Trenton, New Jersey, turn the tide for Colonial forces in 1776? According to legend, Hessian mercenaries were so reminded of home by a candlelit evergreen tree that they abandoned their guardposts to eat, drink and be merry. Washington attacked that night and defeated them.
The Christmas tree has gone through a long process of development rich in many legends, says David Robson, Extension Educator, Horticulture, with the Springfield Extension Center.
Some historians trace the lighted Christmas tree to Martin Luther. He attached lighted candles to a small evergreen tree, trying to simulate the reflections of the starlit heaven -- the heaven that looked down over Bethlehem on the first Christmas Eve.
Until about 1700, the use of Christmas trees appears to have been confined to the Rhine River District. From 1700 on, when lights were accepted as part of the decorations, the Christmas tree was well on its way to becoming a tradition in Germany. Then the tradition crossed the Atlantic with the Hessian soldiers.
Some people trace the origin of the Christmas tree to an earlier period. Even before the Christian era, trees and boughs were used for ceremonials. Egyptians, in celebrating the winter solstice -- the shortest day of the year -- brought green date palms into their homes as a symbol of "life triumphant over death". When the Romans observed the feast of saturn, part of the ceremony was the raising of an evergreen bough. The early Scandinavians were said to have paid homage to the fir tree.
To the Druids, sprigs of evergreen holly in the house meant eternal life; while to the Norsemen, they symbolized the revival of the sun god Balder. To those inclined toward superstition, branches of evergreens placed over the door kept out witches, ghosts, evil spirits and the like.
This use does not mean that our Christmas tree custom evolved solely from paganism, any more than did some of the present-day use of sighed in various religious rituals.
Trees and branches can be made purposeful as well as symbolic. The Christmas tree is a symbol of a living Christmas spirit and brings into our lives a pleasant aroma of the forest. The fact that balsam fir twigs, more than any other evergreen twigs, resemble crosses may have had much to do with the early popularity of balsam fir used as Christmas trees.

We went from summer to fall/winter back in July here...I didn't get to see anything really changing colours the way fall time usually does....it's hard to believe that Christmas is next week...I can finally decorate the pine out in the front yard...I still follow an old German tradition that I don't think others wouldn't even consider today...I will explain tomorrow unless I can find it on here...night everyone...again I've stayed on here until 2am...last night it was like 4-5 am...sorry I'd rather be with my friends on here than military brats...I guess they call me a loner or whatever, but I really don't care anymore....oh well life goes on...

that is kind of creepy just looking directly back at an eye, but it's oh so true...I've always been the one and only red head with green eyes in the room, so this is like someone reached down inside of me and pulled my description out...

B*E*S*T* *C*O*M*M*E*N*T* *E*V*E*R...

"In a few years it will be here comes hefty hefty boo boo in her trailer park moo moo flashing her trailer park hoo hoo."

not sure if anyone has heard of this ridiculous and highly annoying show, but I can't stand it either, so of course I jumped in bashing it like the thousands of others on here are doing...I still can't figure out what on earth is so popular about such a disgusting ignorant television program that is on "THE LEARNING CHANNEL" of all things...what I still can't figure out is if this thing is on "THE LEARNING CHANNEL", then just what exactly are we supposed to be LEARNING?????
this is the most annoying effing kid that I have ever come across in my entire life...I have no idea how people find stuff like this actually entertaining...it's really sad how stupid the world is becoming with this kind of junk being considered humourous...wow I really feel sorry for people who act like this....

MY PERSONALITY EXACTLY...

I really wish that they didn't take this show off the air it still cracks me up and is just toooooo funny...I am exactly like this cause I can't stand hard labour, I always worry about how I look, other girls hate me through and through, I think just about everything is funny....now all the Reality Shows are boring and way too serious...it's all fighting and yelling at one another, people crying and complaining and that is just not me...

I have all 5 seasons of "The Simple Life" and have just started watching them all over again...if anyone can catch it on here, I would never stand there and make sausages, but I would have nooooo trouble at all putting canned dog or cat food or both in them, and giving them to people that I absolutely can not staaaannnddd...

I don't wanna change diapers like ever...I wouldn't do other people's dirty laundry and put it up for them, I don't wanna work in an office, I could never sit still, and keep wanting to go and talk with everyone and laugh about stuff completely unrelated to work, I don't wanna do farm work, be around cows, have to dress up proper everyday, and anything else that is outdoor hard labour or just plain boring...

I have too much fun with the kids I work with, so I will never get used to any of that other stuff...I got in the dunk tank before when we were having a carnival thing with kids, and let them dunk me over and over and it was the most fun ever...it scared me to death suddenly just falling like that, but I may not ever get to do that again cause it's very cold here in Alaska, and we don't have water activites outdoors..

the water would freeze before we even started any of it...yah I was soaking wet the rest of the day, or part of it, cause it was so hot that drying off was no problem at all... it was tooo funny cause I was laughing, and everyone else was laughing, I couldn't get back up right away cause all my strength was being taken away from laughing too hard, but wow it was so much fun, and I wouldn't hesitate for a minute to do something like that again...

I really couldn't dream of doing anything else...it's not on this clip, but another clip they go to Sonic, (a drive in fast food place...we don't have them here of course cause you drive up and sit in your car, and order from a speaker with the windows down...so it wouldn't go over too well as freezing as the air gets here this time of year...) they have on sonic costumes and have to stand at the front of the road to try and get people in there..

they get bored doing that just standing there in costumes, ( I really can't blame them for that one, cause it drives me absolutely crazy to just stand in one spot not doing anything...) and they walk over to the grocery store across the street and are walking around in there with Sonic costumes on..not to mention then they were falling over laughing on the floor with everyone else looking, still wearing the over-sized costumes....something else that I would do, no problem, and wouldn't care, cause I would never see those people again...

it's soo good to know that there really are other people in the world who have the same temperments and personlities/ same kind of humour as I do...I surely won't find them here with who I have to live around cause everyone is so serious..I honestly have never met such boring stuck up people in my entire life..I hope they enjoy being miserable cause I will never be like that..

I have noo idea how I got off on that topic...at 4am it's always a surprise whenever I get on here and just start talking...see you all later today and I'll post the rest of my Thanksgiving pics...the radio is driving me out of my mind with Christmas music nonstop 24 hours a day...so it's been Bon Jovi and the rest of my 4-5 cases of cds whenever I do my work...I really can't decide if it's a good or bad thing that I always can't wait until the holidays are over with so I won't have to hear the exact same Christmas music day after day and they would get back to regular music...only 3 more weeks to go until we start hearing the New Year's tune...that doesn't bother me as bad but Christmas music just makes me wanna scream cause they won't stop playing it..I can't help wondering if anyone else feels the same way!?! :P

I CAN NOT WAIIITTTTT TO SEE THIS MOVIE!!

I hope that "Les Miserables" makes the made up Titantic movie look like it was tossed in the dirt and forgotten about centuries ago...yah that stupid boat scene is beyond annoying now, and isn't even funny so give it up people...I am going to see this on Christmas day, and I'm counting down each and everyday until it gets here...only 3 more weeks to go, and I can hardly sleep at night sometimes...This is my #1 favourite musical of all time, with" Phantom of the Opera" right after it...you have to be into this Arts and Humanities stuff to get so excited about it...please let's kick that made up movie about "Titantic" so far out that people will completely forget about that thing...I got a REAL DOCUMENTARY on "Titantic" so that movie that they came out with is junk...I love alllllll the songs in "Les Miserables", but this one is my absolute favourite of them all and I can listen to it over and over and over and never get sick of it...I can not wait to see this movie.....and I'm already thinking about buying the cd and dvd that hasn't even come out yet...I just like buying things mostly, sometimes I don't even care what it is, but this one I won't pass up...too outstanding!!!!!!!!!!!
